Even my son concluded he wouldn't drink this when out with his mates.

Over-cooked and past its best. Cooking wine

This bottle at least is past its best by some way. Drink it up, use it for cooking, or pour it down the sink. Or take it to a party and leave it for others to consume lol. I'll probably use my last 2 bottles for cooking.

Not so impressed with this bottle. The fruit starts with a punch, blackberry, dark cherry, cloves, tobacco, coffee. It just dies too quickly into a bitter finish. I'm conflicted but assume that this is a bottle issue.

Nice Cabernet with good structure. The fruit is a mix of red and black fruits with cloves, though without any fruit sweetness. The acidity is firm but in the background. The tannins are erring toward the chalky. The overall effect is very good.

Purple and blue fruit, smoky mocha. Big on the front palate but finishes with a strident narrow mineralesque lean character when it should blossom and go out instead of in. Prominent gravelly tannins.
