Suprisingly good Burgundy. Nose is full of cherries, with dried roses, forest berries, old bark and some earth. Perfectly ripe palate, surprisingly full for such price level. Not tired at all, full of structure and in a very good spot right now. I've tasted quite a few Audoin Marsannays up to date and enjoyed all of them (90', 98', 2005' favieres, 15 Charmes aux pretres and clos du roy, 16 roy and longeroies and this one is not far from …

Very open with cherry fruit, granite, and lots of acid on day one. Day two the fruit was much more quiet with earth and mineral present. Rebuy: maybe.

Big and ripe and rich, this was fully day two, which I don't think was doing it a favor. So taste a fresh bottle next time.

Restaurant purchase from memory. Color light garnet. Nose showed bright red fruits with earth and minerality. this started a bit brisk but with some air smoothed itself out and picked up some weight on the palate. Very classy Marsannay, was a perfect foil for my 5 spice red snapper and carrot whip.

Let decant for over two hours but never really reached its potential. Tried it the next day and felt like we missed something. I think it just needs time and it will be a fantastic wine.

Tight nose of cherries and bramble. Light, delicate with a playful balance of floral and dark cherry notes. I felt that this wine showed better a little chilled - reducing some of the acidity we got at room temperature and letting more of the sweeter strawberry notes come through. Drinkable now but am saving our second bottle for a few years from now.
