On its way out IMO. Less concentrated flavour than VdN I have from 1955, 1960 and 1965. Quite round in the mouth, suggestive of glycerine. Doesn't taste as sweet as it probably is, deceptive that way. Honey, marmalade, somewhat toffee flavours - lots of complexity. Overall lacking some intensity.

Drank at 67 Dark amber colour with a rich thick nose of honey, apple and nuts. Smooth rich palate. Lovely.
