(16/20) Tasting the 2016 next to the 2011 at the winery. This 2016 aged 10 months in Slavonian oak barrels. Bottled late 2024. Powerful wine. Feels very young still. Medium intense aromas of violet, red plum, blackberry, blueberry, tomato leaf, liquorice wood, dark chocolate, coffee, leather, tobacco, wet leaves, balsamic. Dry wine, medium+ acidity, medium+ and fine-grained tannins, full body, pronounced flavour intensity, long finish. 14% ABV - Tasted @ Winery
