Definitely showing some age but has held up quite well. Very cool to see an aged Niagara syrah from a superb vintage drinking so beautifully at 14 years of age.

Dull red/purple with definite browning. Opaque but not viscous/thick. Nice aromas of black pepper, tar, dried herbs and dark slightly dried berry fruits. forest floor aromas and old worn leather. Nice balanced structure, waning acidity but still enough to keep balance from tipping to flabbiness. Dusty subtle tannins. Flavours start with black berry fruits, and plums … maybe a bit of kirsch richness. Elegant and suave, not in your face. Definite black bitter tea on the finish. Overall very nice. …

Very nice up front. Lost a little depth after a few sips but surprising balanced wine. Very nice Syrah. Enjoyed it and will buy again.

In agreement with leener10's post. Nice and long surprise finish: an explosion of herbal scents drifting slowly away.

Dull colour, purple-red with purple reflections. Deep colour and normal viscosity. Outstanding nose, herbacious, black pepper, tar and some subtle fruit. Large tannings, warm alcohol, refreshing acid. Blackcurrants. Medium-full body with an extended persistence and good balance. An elegant, rich, harmonious and fine quality bottle.

Aromatic, fresh cracked black pepper, cinnamon, black cherry and currant nose. Medium-full bodied, flavourful, balanced and complex; long, peppery finish. 4.5/5
