Thought this might be past its prime, but I was wrong. This was a silky smooth malbec. Malbec can be a pretty intense wine, but I had a feeling this would go well with our Thanksgiving dinner - and it did. Blackberry, plum, cherry notes really complemented the turkey, cranberry, sweet potato, mashed potatoes, etc. Drinking very well right now. I heard this winery as being sold. If so, I hope the new owner maintain the unassuming and charming spirit …
