Fattoria dei Barbi Birbone Toscana IGT

This was really quite yummy. Brown at the edges - 7yrs old but still more than expected. Nice fruit dominant but also some wood on the nose. Red fruits. Expressive mouthful though sweeter than clarets. Very smooth and well rounded. Fantastic with Italian meaty dishes.
