Bottle 2 of 3 and note consistent with my November 2012 note. Not as hot as the previous bottle but the same fizz which seems to be occurring in many of g Wine Cellars red wines. All in all, disappointing.

Lots of up front red fruit on this as well as through the mid palate and finish. Long finish but nothing of the complex spice that can be found in CA syrah. This bottle also had a fizz to it that pretty much went away after a good shake and some time. A bit hot but not surprisingly so considering it's a CA syrah. Two more in the cellar which I'll let sit awhile to see if they improve.

Not sure where this one is headed. It is a well made complex mess with a hot finish that I wasn't expecting. Not better on day two. Keep my fingers crossed it hits stride in another year or two.
