Shared over dinner with a friend. Wouldn't have expected a weizenbock to barrel-age well, but it's an inspired choice! Subtle vanilla and wood character permeate the earthy character of a strong German Ale, creating a beer that's just the right amount of sweet while remaining eminently drinkable.
