A private dinner (Caffè Toscanini, Amsterdam, NL) : Made from 100% Fiano, cool and late year. Unoaked but nevertheless quite Burgundian in style, ripe lemon and a hint of cream, beautifully structured and energetic, firm bitters, orchard fruit and a touch of spice, lime zest, hint of butterscotch, excellent persistence. Fascinating, youthful.
