Clearly recognizeable as a New World Pinot Noir. Despite screw cap, it still shows a very evolved nose with signs of oxydation. Strange, very un Pinoy-like minty/cabbage type of aroma... would be disappointed had I paid for this bottle

I love this wine - smooth like silk yet full of wonderful favours?

Wonderful smooth as silk with lots of depth - loved it! And the remains was just as good the following day!

Spicy Cherries on the nose. Very decent wine and much better than any fruit bomb central otago Pinot.

Won gold at Air NZ comp – it is Pallister Ests second label also from Martinborough. $20 at FG. Beautiful nose, long chewy, cherry finish. Lovely wine and at $20 an absolute steal.

{screwcap, 14.5%, A$17} Bright crimson/garnet. Intense and youthful nose of liqueured strawberries with a little pastrami! Very fruity, very new-world, very in-yer-face. The palate is so lusciously fruity it's verging on sweet; there is a little grapey tannin but no real sign of oak; and although the wine isn't stalky at all, there's just a little more reserve to the palate that keeps it from a full scale fruit assault. It's light-medium-bodied, and although the finish is barely medium-length, there's …

$18 from Dan's and sensational value. I drank the majority of this bottle on the following day and it is the best Pencarrow I've had.

A nice earthy asian spice nose with a rich and yummy savoury palette. Very nice!

I got hints of freshly cooked caramel (minus the cream) as well as sour cherries later on. At this point the bouquet was very pleasing and may have raised my expectations, since it wasn't nearly as pleasing to actually drink. Loads of acid mixed in with pepperiness. No real tannins to speak of and a very short finish.
