In a vacuum, this is a nice, tasty California chardonnay, but given the name Aubert on the label, I thought it was a drop-off from what I typically expect from Aubert. This lacked the tension, depth and minerality I usually would normally get in an Aubert. But this is creamy, oily, with some richness of oak coming through. Don't get me wrong, this was delicious with chilled seafood, but it just wasn't top-notch Aubert to me.

Mid-week with salmon. I thought this might be pretty well faded by now, but it was not. Medium body, good white and stone fruit with balanced acidity and mineral tone on finish. Got a little tired over the course of the evening. Does not offer the depth of single vineyard offerings, but excellent -- especially in a challenging vintage. Drink up.

This is holding up reasonable well for an ordinary estate wine. Fully mature and the at the beginning of its decline. The nose brings aromas and of flowers, honey and autumn leaves. The palate is ripe apple, pear, with a touch of minerals and oak. Round medium bodied palate without a lot of structure but still presenting a tasty wine.

Drank over two nights, golden yellow, gorgeous nose, very nice pear , pineapple, tropical fruits, just enough oak and vanilla, appropriate acidity, and nicely blended Chardonnay.

Great surprise! We love Aubert’s single vineyard chards but this Napa blend was wonderful. Crisp and light but still wonderful fruit with just a hint of oak.

Oh wow! This is a beautiful wine and it's drinking beautifully right now! Loads of citrus and tropical fruit without a hint of oak. Ultra pure and mouth-filling with a bit of lingering acidity. This is such a great wine for an entry level chardonnay. Bravo Aubert!

Opened and poured, butter and flint and oaky steely quince and lemon chiffon. Cirton coloring, oaken nose and glyceric legs on the swirl. High class, refined and focused, even though drenched in butter.

Still excellent but not at same level as single vineyard bottlings.

First bottle from this release, and first experience with the Napa Estate designation (assuming Carneros). Chilled, PnP, Valerie and I drank over 2 hours Medium gold color. Nose showing citrus notes, white flowers and minerals. Rich palate of baked orchard fruits, pears, lemon zest, butterscotch...rich through the mid palate...a lot going on here Long and layered finish. This continued to improve in the glass, showing more complexity as it opened. Since this was my first experience with this wine I …

For a second line Aubert, Viscosity was off the charts!! Loved this wine for what it is, does have, as other noted, some taste similarities to a sav blanc., but it ends there, it's all Napa chard... Beautiful medium straw yellow color, a little alch on the nose, but no heat whatsoever on the palate. A nice lemon, grapefruit,, and hint if lime with a moderate minerality and a hint if rosemary and herbs on the finish. Nice mid palate …

Butterscotch and lemon curd with subtle oak notes are nicely integrated providing a pleasant spice component. This presents much like a Puligny Montrachet. A little hot early on but smooths out as the fruit and polish of time provide a very pleasurable experience. Very nice Chardonnay

Delicious! Forward. Not as outrageously intense as it was on release. Still an excellent Chard. Blast of fruit and long acid and fruit driven finish. Hard to believe that this is grown in Rutherford!

Enjoyed by guests at Team gathering. Lemon is the dominant flavor here, with oak lightly applied. Lush and full bodied

Minerally, more Sauvignon blanch like than Chardonnay. I bought for 55, decent value, I would not pay 100+. Not very aromatic, somewhat acidic, no oak.

Lots of ripe stone fruit with tropical hints. New oak spice throughout. Fun start, with good weight but less intense flavors in the middle. There a slightly hot finish that seems to wane slightly, which makes me think this best in the near-term while fresh.

Yellow color with a very compelling bouquet and flavor of butterscotch with hints of citrus. Wonderful balance and depth with a long finish. This is what Chardonnay is all about.

Maybe holding these to unreasonable expectations, I was moderately disappointed. Quite oaky initially which left a unpleasant aftertaste. The moderated with time open. Ripe pear, ripe red apple, custard, vanilla sweetness and not quite as much acidity for balance as hoped.

Not the best Aubert chard but still nice to drink. Passion fruit aromas and a crisp apple taste ending in smooth toasted almond finish.

Amazing, rich Chard. Not over the top but very well balanced. All the flavors are fairly intense. The apple/pear nose almost jumps out of the glass. Drinking very well now but had very good acid levels to last several years. I'll wait another year or two for the next.

Allowed to decant for one hour. Beautiful straw color. Not as intense as prior wines from this producer, but great just the same. EG #WineArchitect
