Beautiful acid that defies all logic by still existing. It's a Granny Smith Apple dipped in caramel. Incredible wine making and must have been perfect storage and care of this bottle. What a treat.

Chateau Gilette Vertical Tasting (FWR, Toronto, Canada) : Amber-gold colour. Aromas of apricot, foie gras, jasmine, honey, and peach. Medium-full bodied, medium-sweet, nutty, showing coffee, caramel, orange rind, and peach notes on the palate. Long finish, ~35-40s, with nuts, coffee, and orange rind. Really nice.
