Brunello di Montalcino Dinner (The Conservatory, Crown Wine Cellars, 18 Deep Water Bay Drive, Shouson Hill, Hong Kong) : Semi-transparent uby colour. Nose is growling, deep black and red cherry fruit, almost confit. Palate is bitter cherry and dark bitter chocolate. Slightly tart, short finish. Past prime....I much preferred the 1983 Il Poggione we drank alongside it.
