exactly what i expected. aged to its peak. from the fantastic 04 vintage. this wine was excellent! the nose was muted, but on the palette nice sweet cherries, vanilla, cotton candy, oak and nice long finish. really liked this wine would easily buy another. drank at its peak and just a great wine! i'd drink up as its at its peak (low to no acidity left).

Tasted during Masterclass by Ben Glaetzer in Amsterdam. Interesting wine. Different from other Cabernet Sauvignons. Hints of mint, eucalyptus, vegetables. Good for its price.

Crowd pleaser; Fairly simple but attractive nose with black fruit predominating. Very full on the middle palate for a lower-end Aussie Cab; I think the 10% Shiraz really does make a difference. Has the characteristic Glaetzer fleshiness. All in all not terribly complex and doesn't scream 'Cab' to me, but a very good value.

Glaetzer/Heartland tasting 2006 (Brisbane) : Ripe dark fruit. I didn’t find this particularly varietal, but it was well structured with controlled oak and reasonably easy drinking. Perhaps a little closed, but not really one that I would cellar for too long.
