Chareau Icarus American Brandy

Bronze color. Sweetish nose, some rancio, peppery, grappa-like, off-putting dirty wood note. A little harsh, dominated by the dirty wood flavor, short finish with some flowery fruit. Big disappointment - not flawed, just problems in how this was made. Understand that is was an experiment (discovered during the sale of Germain-Robin to Gallo).
