A decent real Mendocino Pinot with for a price ($12) of many mass produced faux California appellation ones. A medium red color and a varietal nose with both berry and herbal notes, not terribly intense but in the right direction. In the mouth quite soft and the flavors are right but again not terribly intense, there is adequate acid (barely) and a good finish. Not for aging or special occasions, think mid week dinner.
