Leo Fuchs Pommerner Rosenberg Riesling Eiswein

Brilliant nose of huge concentration and intensity with an aged twist. Mushrooms and spearmint on top of all the ripe fruit. Sweet mid-weight palate with steely cut and rising acidity. Crystallized lemon, tangerine and apple purée showing some age. Fine intensity through the palate. Long almond cookie finish. Really a stunner. And at the same time some around the table didn't like the style at all. Well, I did.
