dark red - black cherry nose, not much complexity - full bodied for a PN - good acid and moderate tannins - medium length finish - a gutsy PN to match with big flavored food, not one to appreciate for complexity and elegance

Perhaps the best showing of a bottles from a six pack This seemed a bit more expressive and complex than previous bottles...maybe entering its drinking zone.

Needs decanting. Takes a while to open up, but once it does a nice bottle. Dark cherry, bramble, and Eola spice. Somewhat uncomplex, but a nice wine.

This is the second bottle of this we have consumed. The first was reticent on the nose and palate, and didn't seem to open up much after a few hours open. Either this has really put on weight since January, or there is a good bit of bottle variation. This bottle was medium bodied, and opened up after about half an hour.
