Loved this. Bought from a Blackbird tasting of this, the 08 and 09 Arise, and the 09 Illustration, and the Rosé was the only wine that impressed me. Wonderfully aromatic with cherry Smarties, wild strawberries, rhubarb, green olive, and even some dusty cinnamon on day 2. Medium weighted in the mouth with more red fruit preserves, and a succulent finish that is as refreshing as it is delicious, bringing a little tree fruit skin to the flavor party. Best rosé …

Nose: Strawberries, florals and a hint of creamy oak. Palate: Siilky and full of sweet strawberry and mellon flavors with a nice balance of acids. A bit of lemon peel comes up on the back end. Finish. Lingering and pleasant. A great rose that is very "napa" in style.

Aromas of fresh cherry, dried fall leaves, and basil. Explosive on the palate with cherry and red currants. Sharp and lively acidity that is present form start to finish. A fantastic bottle. I would probably drink this through 2011, but the acidity and structure will keep this going for another 18 months.

A truely interesting rose. I had expected something shalow and washed out; as aresult my first few sips were a shock to my system. This has depth soft berries and a hint of herb. With a decent finish.

This was the first rose' I've ever had that I would describe as having depth. The nose was soft and even gave nutty hints, like a sparkling. It showed soft strawberries on the mid-palate without being sweet and had a much longer finish than I would expect. This wine stood up to crostini with goat cheese, red peppers and caramelized onions....but, i'm confident, it would not over power a delicate summer seafood dish either.
