Pepper, earth and licorice on the nose. Needs to age, decant, or use an aerator to open up. Dry mouth-feel with lots of tannin, but good balance of alcohol and acidity. Densely textured, black fruit and large body. Should cellar for 2-4 more years, but won't disappoint now.
