Du Plevaux Pinotage

Nose is nice - black fruits, oak. Nice acidity, that complements the acidity nicely. Plums, blackberries, fruit driven palate; some licorice notes came out, with black pepper and some oak in the ending. While not exceedingly complex, this wine showed nice balance and was very pleasant; nice structure. Drink now or hold a couple of years but no reason to hold any longer than that.
