A couple small glasses consumed over 1 hour. Medium body, mild cantaloupe & quince fruit with a hint of lemon zest and a good sense of pithy, waxy "white Rhone-ness." A little more subdued than I was expecting, and it might not have matched well with everything in our varied appetizer-style dinner, but an enjoyable bottle all the same.

I picked up these with the intention of aging for a few years, I like when roussanne has a few years under its belt. Plus, I already knew I liked this wine from tasting at falltacular. Crisp, clean. Some citrus and petrol. Slight glycerin. Paired well with spicy Thai dishes. Great summer wine, but also enough umph to go anytime of the year. Really enjoyed this wine.

I'm use to Alban Roussannes..…no match strike reduction here….so this is a nice change of pace! Creamy and bright, not in your face style….perfectly ripe orchard fruit, with just a touch of tropicalness to it. Fresh citrus acidity dances with the cream…subtle complexities of white flowers, honeysuckle jam, honey butter, lite toasted marshmallow, candied lemon rind……refreshingly Rhone! Better at cellar temp to bring out more pronounced flavors and florals……nice one!

I've had a lot of white Rhone blends that I have really liked, but generally those are Marsanne and Roussanne so I was interested to try a Roussanne only. Served a bit too cold at first and it was a clear, refreshing taste (prob from the light acidity), but didn't get many secondary flavors. Falltacular 2014 (FMIII in the OC) : Top 5 of the tasting. I really like all of the Tercero whites and this is at the top of the list with the Viognier. Gold color. Aromas of yellow apple and honeysuckle, and fresh flowers. Awesome palate. Medium plus weight and yellow apple and pear flavors with baking spice. Medium plus finish.
