Medium ruby with reflections of red. A quiet and not particularly distinct nose hints at dried red and black fruits, tinned meat, grilled herbs and earth. On the palate this is medium bodied and juicy in texture, offering a bit more substance, with bright acids and supple tannins supporting simple but pleasing black fruit, graphite and earth flavors. This isn't fascinating, but it drinks better than many Bordeaux AOP wines at this price point.

Dense and opaque colour. On the extroverted nose stewed blue and black fruits, prunes, milk chocolate and mint leafs. The palate is silky with smoothed out tannins, full-bodied, intense attack with sweet cassis, beautifully rounded mid-palate and hints of bitter almonds towards the finish. Great stuff!

Deeply rich-colored, with abundant aromas of mixed berries, cassis, currants, chocolate, and sweet mint. Intense, expressive, and well rounded. Long, deep, and balanced flavors, melted tannins, and a structured frame. The espresso and sweet plum finish lingers. A lot of juice for the price.

delicious. ripe blue fruit, graphite, and menthol on the nose. whiff of chocolate matching palate with sweet bacon, maple, and rich cassis. chalky minerality. raisin. full body, dusty tannins but still a little grip. the wine is ripe with a hint of sweetness, but the acidity keeps it from being flabby. rich full bodied red at a great price. thumbs up!

Decanted two hours before drink. Deep purple in color. Lovely nose with blackfruits and vanilla. Starts like Enira Reserva 08 with direct and massive sweet, currants and vanilla. It shows more complexity and greater balance afterwards with sweet plum, blueberry, jam and coffee. Smooth and balance. Wonderful!

Terrific quality fruit intensity shows low yield and careful grape selections, equal proportion of Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet & Petit Verdot 25% each, but it needs at least an hour to open up, it then reward you with a balanced and seamless integration of cassis, fresh strawberries, fruitcakes, toasty elements and baked spices, mint, ripe plums that has an impressive follow through of dried prunes and dark cherries. It's downright unfined and unfiltered, sediments may occurred in bottle so decanting is …

Last bottle. Drinks great now. Lots of black berries, tannins are nicely integrated and some sweets are also in there. Comparable to a modern style right bank BDX, but with a very nice price. Had it with steak - fits perfectly. Without food the alcohol slightly appears in the aftertaste so I recommend to combine it with red meat - preferably beef. I don't know how long this will last, maybe it's not made for too many years, but it's …

Very dark in colour. Ripe red fruit, spicy, mint, licorice, wood. Quite big & powerful on the palate, very sweet fruit, great acidity and gentle tannins. The finish is pretty long. A little heavy maybe, slightly hot. After a short time in the decanter this is drinking beautifully and the QPR is (still) great.

Strong nose and palate of blackcurrant pastilles. Some ash/oak on the finish. I would guess Chile if served blind. Lacks freshness. Some minerality starts to come through a few days after opening, but the rest of the wine is falling apart by then. Hard work.

Needs decanting. Intense spiciness smooth out to earthiness with a touch of minerality at the finish. I would expect this wine to age well.

A modern Merlot blend from Bulgaria, sweet plum and blueberry fruit, rather gentle acidity, sweet tannins and some spicy and vanilla flavored oak. Alcohol seems integrated despite 14.5%. Quite full-bodied and should even age well for some years. Great value. Good BBQ wine. - 89 points

Very expressive nose, very ripe fruit, plums, cherries, maybe a little jammy. Spices, wood. Tannins very gentle and sweet, very balanced, great mouthfeel, medium length, again very ripe fruit, a bit heavy. Not overly complex, but excellent value, great with food.

Herrlicher Bulgare. Sehr gelungen.

Lufthansa serverede denne vin.

Had it for the first time on a Lufthansa long-haul flight and was pretty impressed. Notes based on when I had it a second time a couple of month later. Red berries, wood, spices, smoke. Tannins quite present but well integrated and sweet, fresh acidity, excellent balance and a long finish. Benefits from decanting and will get better with bottle age. Brilliant QPR.

(Merlot 75%, Syrah 10% and Cabernet Sauvignon 15%) On first opening, this appearred a bit pedestrian (although powerful enough). Half the bottle was stoppered and then reopened 24 hours later. Much better! Damp, mushroomy sois-bois smells and big jammy fruit. A bit porty. Some baked figs. Smoke. Palate deep and round. Opulent. Swish it well all round your mouth. Animally notes. Deep deep fruit. Gorgeous mid-palate full of complexity. Bracing tannins and oak with a clean long acidic finish. This …

Garnet with a focused developing nose of black fruit, herbs, chocolate and a lot of oak. Hints of leather. Fat and fresh with a velvety texture and solid tannins. Except the fact that the wine at this moment shows a heavily oaked character it is a excellent Bordeaux blend. Just needs time to integrate.

Excellent wine, exactly the same flavour profile as a Bordeaux cabernet-dominant blend aged for 10 years. Alcohol (14.5%) is not evident, tannins feel fully mature and resolved. Would take this over almost any Bordeaux at this price range (7.50 pounds).

Bdx style but a lot softer on the palate. A nice style and quadratic, no problem with heat and the fruit is tasty. Not complex but a good value <£7 and an interesting alternative to NW cabs.

Lots of oak here, but it is rather elegant and adds spicy flavors. There is nice sweet cassis&plum fruit in the back, some licorice, fine tannins, velvety texture and good balance despite the high alcohol. If the oak integrates with time, this could become really good. Right now, I find it somewhat oaky and a bit hard to drink. Good quality for 10 Euros though. - (88+ points)

A red garnet color wine. A youthful and developing nose with medium intensity and aromas of blackcurrant, cranberry, cloves, anise and cassis. In the mouth this medium bodied wine is round and balanced, offers a pleasant mouth feel, with sweet ripe tannins, good intensity and a medium finish with intoxicating but pure cassis fruit. The 14.5% alcohol is very well balanced by the thick texture. The finish reminds of a good Chilean Cabernet. 86-87 points
