very clear colour - strawberry/raspberry hue. clean with light rim. excellent. nose: some V.A. in front; very ripe strawberries and raspberries; oaky notes, bit smoked. Robust. taste: high acidity; light, ripe tannins' red plums, raspberries, ripe red cherries; spice - cloves. cinnamon, cardamon. tobacco. long finish. shame that the nose is a problem.
