45 minute slow ox. Nice reminder that not every wine from an “off” vintage is the same. Full bodied. Blue fruit is gone but plenty of black fruit and plum.

PnP. Continues as before. Very enjoyable

Similar to bottle in June but thought it needed some time in the glass to open up.

PnP. Sweet blue and black fruit, creamy texture, and nice minerality on the finish. Notable lack of tannins portend a short life. Really nice wine from an off year.

Very ready on PnP. This had layered black and blue fruit with plum. Finish was nice and smooth lacking tannin.

Very good with a nice earthiness to it. Subdued fruit flavors. Smooth. But lacks any special punch to make it outstanding.

Eye: purple but not opaque Nose: black blue fruits, vanilla and oak Palate: black plums and blackberries with firm but supple tannins and a medium plus finish Overall this was fairly typical for Napa Cabernet. Drinking pretty well right now and i don't detect much more to the structure to think this will evolve much. Considering the price if this wine it was below expectations.

A very pleasant drinking experience. Very straightforward in its presentation. A nice blue and black fruit presentation with very little tannins. Not horribly concentrated or complex. Thinking that this is a vintage variation for this wine which, in previous vintages, has been concentrate and complex. Still a very good wine although don't think that it has a long life ahead of it.
