Decent affordable castoro cellars zin. Pretty dark and intense, more peppery and tannic than fruity. It's not a great wine, but a decent QPR. and nothing terriblly wrong with it. I don't think it will be a go-to, but I might buy it again

Pretty simple wine and not any outstanding flavor. That said, it is tasty enough for a dinner wine and just right for the price.

Light ruby, fairly thin. Bright cherry-strawberry fruit in the nose. Effusively fruity though lacking any nuance or complexity. Easy to understand red fruit palate. Quaffable. Better when slightly chilled. Decent little wine for the money. 3-11-14-7: 85/100.

Not great but for the money it is fine. It seems a bit "weak" but that could be that it is a zin and that is how I thinkk zin's are.

More than the typical Trader Joe's $7 bottle of Zinfandel, I'm going to give this one a thumbs up. I think the Paso Robles appellation is part of the reason. You can't help but notice the big sunshine, very ripe fruit. But, there is also some restraint in not going totally fruit bomb on us. There is actually some commendable structure and body, that does not seem to come from oak. The color is pretty transparent purple. Not a whole …
