Dark red. Dark berry fruit with a hint of earth, Nice balanced not ripe Bordeaux blend.

No decant. Creamy nose, nicely integrated oak, and dark fruit as with previous bottles, but this was more angular on the palate. Red and black fruit, not a ton of depth, but mature herbal nuances frame the fruit nicely. Very enjoyable.

'Should Have Stopped at 3' Wine Night/Ian and Alex : This wine was the star of the night. ... Tart, wood smoke, spice, and even a hint of green vegetables. ... Doesn't jump out at you in any way but very smooth from start to finish. ... A lot going on for my still-inexperienced wine palate but just liked everything about the experience. Paired with some sharp cheese.

Slightly better bottle than 1/30/12, a bit richer crimson color. Nose again brings mature, integrated oak elements with dark berries. Sweet red and black fruit palate, ending with plenty of tannin structure that keeps the finish firm and interesting.

Mature, integrated nose of toasted oak, sweet cream, dark berries, mocha/coffee grounds, and roasted herbs. Red to black currant palate, loamy mocha character, medium-weight with surprising depth of fruit. Quite nice. 91+

It was nice the first day, and wonderful the second. Tastes of coffee and chocolate just rolling all over my tongue, with a slight hint of berry so slight that I'm having trouble distinguishing it (or it might just be that I had a few glasses before I started typing this.)

Wow, this was such an unexpected pleasure. If you have a bottle of this, please drink now. The fruit on the nose and palate was extraordinary. We had this with an endive avocado salad and spaghetti carbonara. What a fantastic wine, I am only sorry that I do not have any more. Silky tannins - BTW we decanted for 30 minutes and served in small pours

This blend of 69% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Merlot and 8% Cabernet Franc was tasted from the Vintage Wines, Ltd. tasting bar. Bright disc. Opaque black/purple robe with purple rim. Clean nose, showing quite intense aromas of coffee, vanilla, ripe plum, chocolate and toasted oak. Full-bodied and fruit-forward on the palate, with medium acidity and ample ripe tannins. The flavors are similar to the nose. Medium, smooth finish. A very nice "fruit bomb" which should drink well for the next several …
