Again I sustain that Sangiovese and Bordeaux blens are ones of my favourites! Maybe not perfect but very good and happy marriage. Awesome super tuscan! A wine, that is rich, dense and has an awesome structure on palate - harmonious, polished tannin, complex and very well balanced! Didn't see many ST in that price range with that quality. Awesome stuff.

Florence & Tuscan Holiday; 5/9/2011-5/16/2011 (Florence & Tuscany) : Nose: A little closed. Some nice fruit and italian herbs. Taste: Quite a straightforward red wine with some delightful red fruit and a coffee finish.. Well made but clearly overshadowed by the Rancia and Fontalloro.

Sister winery of Felsina Elegant nose – nutmeg from the oak is showing very nicely. Cranberry and fresh ripe raspberry fruit red fruit in addition to cassis and black current on the nose and palate. Secondary aromas and flavors of eucalyptus with a green pepper / vegetal component. Very nice wine.
