Good bottle - PnP and drank 1/2 bottle over the evening. Dark and brooding - not overly fruity. No formal notes.

Tiltross for at korken hadde tørket og ble pulverisert var dette en smaksrik, ikke tung vin med lang ettersmak. Bra med tanninstruktur krever mat. Kjøpes gjerne og legges i kjeller.

Ruby rim. Dark fruit, chocolate, dried raisin and musty and tannic aroma. Earthy, minerally, with some berries and tannins on the finish. Decanted for 1.5 hours, drank over another 1.5. This has time to sit.

Solid and reliable Douro blend. Not as floral as I remembered past vintages, feels more ripe fruit driven. Very good wine and still needs some time to full express itself.

I may be biased as I recently got back from a trip to Portugal and I visited the Douro Valley. Didn't make it to this vineyard but drank some of it while in Portugal. The grape is a cousin of the Tempranillo grape from Spain. Give it a taste.
