Decanted for 4 hours prior to drinking. A red blend, predominately cabernet Bordeaux style with a dash of shiraz for good measure. Upfront it is vey cabernet driven, stereotypical mint, eucalypt and cigar box. Blending grapes provide a bit of body and texture to the mid palate, however it is almost like the Petite Verdot has lost its zing as the back palate is a little burnt and oxidised. Drink up now.

This wine is maturing very nicely. The nose offers generous scents of berries and peppers. The taste is intense with flavors of peppery berries and chocolate.
