[Restaurant purchase] At restaurant Amador***, Vienna AU. No detailed notes. This drinks more as aged Pinot than as aged BF. Great bottle with enough fruit left, but also enough tertiary notes to make it really interesting

Opened and decanted 1.5 hours ahead of grilled garlic pork loin. Took about an hour to open up. High-toned raspberry and tart rhubarb notes with spring flowers, cloves, and potpourri on the nose. The palate is medium-light, square, tight, and crunchy, bringing sour cherries, ripe blueberries, boysenberries, red currant, pomegranate, and wood smoke into a textured, tannic, and lengthy finish. Interesting and rather impressive. Fresh and vibrant, light red berries on the nose. Elegant and pure on the palate. Rather biting tannins - apart from that it could be mistaken for a burgundy. Like it lot. Drink now pr within 2-3 years.

Dominantly red berry profile. Great wine, juicy with a grip. Should profit from more time in the cellar

A strange bottle.....Not much to say beyond that - except from maybe.....boring

Med+ intense garnet. Med intense, herbal and fruity bouquet.Dry, med(+) acid, med(-) tannins, med body, intensity and alc. Quite fruity. Med finish. Drink young(er). My notes: Red berries (particularily cranberries and raspberries), herbs, yoghurt.

This austrian wine has the elegance like a good burgundy combined with a "Rhone-ish" twist. In the glass I pick up soured milk, tea, blueberries and licorice. It has that certain "cool climate fingerprint". The taste is fresh, full with lots of fruit and acidity. I really like this wine! It is juicy, fruit-driven but still very complex.
