Drinking well now

Earthy and herbal. No mistaking the CF on the nose. Great mouthfeel! Full bodied and silky tannins. Low acid in the WW style. Not a fruit bomb, but still ripe at the same time. Shows the terroir. Probably has some life left, but no regrets drinking it tonight.

Little nose, smooth, still some tannins, no fruit.

90% CF, 8% CS and 2% PV. 15% whole bunch too, according to my scribbled notes. Warm earth, red fruits and subtle spice. Good varietal characters. Nice wine.

I was a little surprised... this is pretty good and at a good price. So many Cab Franc's can be over the top IMO and this is right in the good spot. Bright red fruits with oak and herbal elements. Balanced tannin and acidity and not over the top in alcohol. An easy drinker alone or with food.

Harder edged back end. Tannic, good stufff young. Fine dark tannins.
