Dark ruby in colour. Not clear. Lovely on the nose. Rose and blackcurrant. I did get a hint of leather. Medium plus bodied wine. Soft tannins with a nice lingering finish. A delicate blackcurrant note, nicely balanced. A very good wine. 91/100 for me.

Well rounded, smooth. Nice without being outstanding.

Inky black. Delicate bouquet for such a big wine, there is a slight intiguing fragrant perfume that permeates this wine. This perfume loads on top of a brooding dark fruit note. Dominant lush dark fruit palate and the hint of fragrant perfume on top. Full bodies wine, acid is the second dominant component. Not much else showing at this point. Lovely big wine, will last for decades

Couple of hours of air. Young, needs time. Think this could be good. Hold for 2-5 years. 92-94

As a 7 year old wine I was expecting to see something deep, dark and a touch of the classic brown age that older wine display but I was actually surprised at how little there was. This is a deep purple with a touch of crimson and certainly has that dark, cloudy ink like finish of an older wine but yet still displaying characters of its youth. There is a true stickiness as it coats the glass and overall it …

Pop and pour. Deep purple fruit with a thick body and long finish that has licorice notes. Upside potential with a few years aging. 93+

Very dark red/purple colour. Rich shiraz fruit showing what feels like quite high alcohol. Beautiful full body, smooth with a firm dry finish. Very nice mouthfeel, big, smooth and rich. A very nice wine that is still young with a future to unfold.

Mid-red with fruit dominating nose. Touches of mineral develop slowly to show spice and pepper over dusty tannins. Tannins are long, firm, the structural basis for several years yet

{screwcap, 14.5%} Big rich velvety McLaren offering. Dry, rather warm, with ripe blackberry flavours. A little oak richness. A bit warm on the short finish, which has a high-yield, dilute quality to it. Short finish. OK for the short term.

Sehr dunkles Lila Rot Brombeeren,Schwarzkirschig, irgendwo Schokolade,Graphite,würzig. Voller Körper, samtig, fleischig, prall, gutes Gleichgewicht,Alkohol gut integriert, leicht pelzige Gerbstoffe. Langer dnkelfruchtiger Abgang. Macht Spass und ist doch nicht zu "viel",hat auch jugendlich viel Trinkfluss.

Really sophisticated Aussie shiraz. Bold but not over-powering.

Sydney good food and wine show (Olympic Park, Homebush, Sydney) : Savoury meaty, rocky, graphite, bonfire, muted black fruit, toast. In the mouth chocolate then juicy, concentrated but not overpowering black fruit is joined by medium plus ripe, fine tannin that persists long long long on the finish. Very pleasant
