Quite dark. The nose is savory it’s loads of soil tones and oak and a light floral essence. Med-bodied, this has ripe black fruits, spice, oak and salty soil notes. Quite complete with an old world sensibility. Drink now-2029 90

Very nice wine. Very Strong tannins, astringent and spicy. Raspberries, black fruit and espresso . It reminds me of a young italian wine (in a good way). Id like to try an older version.Still it went wll with meatloaf.

(16/20) Had the 2018 before, now the 2022. Just as good. Very rich, very pleasantly balanced for a Tannat, very well-made. Medium intense aromas of violet, red cherry, blackberry, blueberry, liquorice wood, vanilla, coffee, leather, tobacco. Dry wine, medium+ acidity, medium+ and fine-grained tannins, medium+ body, pronounced flavour intensity, long finish. 14,5% ABV - Unexpected wine countries tasting @ JdW

On initial opening, picked up on a prominent blueberry note, some licorice, cherry, baking spices and caramel. On first taste, a distinctly grapevine bitterness, plum, cherries along with a very slight dirt note at the end. After chilling for ~40 minutes, I picked up on notes of dark chocolate, figs, blueberries and a tinge of balsamic. Less intense tannins after about an hour. A long(ish), peppery, slightly bitter finish. Didn't seem to "fall apart" after sitting out for an hour …

Deep red in color with purple hue. Plum, red raspberry, cherry, gravel, and violet. Med+ body and med- acidity. Tannins are present but already in a good place. Can tell it would give more with additional bottle age.
