Bright, taut, great structure. Opens with lemon peel, green apple skin, crushed stone, and a subtle saline note, followed by light almond and faint lees with some time and swirling in glass. The palate is linear and energetic, driven by acidity and a strong mineral core. Oak is present but invisible, adding solid structure. The finish is long, clean, and lightly phenolic, reinforcing the wine’s tension and precision. Already very enjoyable, but the structure and balance suggest this should continue …

Served blind in a line up of Oregon/Burgundy chardonnay; this was riper with more tropical notes; peach, mango, red apple, a hint of beeswax and jasmine; the palate is still fresh despite the ripeness of the nose and has good depth; good, seems near peak; would be better with food. Natural cork

(Blind) Tastes more like a slightly aged Champagne sans bubbles than a still Chardonnay. Bruised yellow fruits and flowers. Natural cork.

UPS lost this bottle during shipment in their warehouse for a month. It had very low acidity and came across as flabby, contrary to HandmadeHomemade's notes. I had a fantastic experience with a 21 of this cuvee so I am assuming this bottle was flawed due to the shipping issue. Still, I've read a few posts with concerns about aging Cameron wines (and TCA) so I can't help but wish they would switch to DIAM.

Pulling a more cotton texture, similar to my last note. Hurt me daddy, I live for this acid.

After a very advanced bottle of this wine last March, I was more relieved than thrilled that this bottle was clean. I do believe this wine is picked late, so you do get that almost honeyed touch on the finish while being a perfectly dry, albeit exotic chard. I'll open my last bottle in the next 2 years.

This was very good; I've had one or two of these that seemed a bit oxidized, but this was not; a lot of ripe pear, yellow apple, floral notes, a bit of lemon confit and just a whiff of spice. Good energy and depth on the palate; certainly you can smell and taste the warmth of the year but in a good way that still has enough freshness to be delicious.

Balanced, linear Chardonnay. Quite a bit of vanilla oak characteristic. The silky texture of this wine is what made me like it so much. I guess this will age decently, but I feel like it’s perfectly reasonable to drink this now.

10 years young, structurally taut with vibrant acidity. Aromas include lemon curd, vanilla pudding, kiwi, toasted pine nut, and tangerine. Full bodied, it’s full and round with beautifully balanced acid that provides backbone and texture. The oak is minimal but adds helpful weight. The subtly sweet palate features lemonade, mandarin, pine nut, slate, fresh tarragon, and white pepper. This is masterclass chardonnay with more years of healthy evolution ahead, though there is no need to wait.

Pours a pale lemon in the glass. Intense, primary aromas of crushed rock, tart green apple, sea spray, hay, lemon, smoke/flint. Very tight and austere. In the mouth, the wine is dry, med body, high acid, med alcohol, intense in the mouth, with a med- finish. Overall, very good, too young to really judge. Hold 3 or so years before checking in on another. This baby's going places.

Very very rich and tropical. Nice minerality. The front of the palate has an almost a chenin-like quality to it. The richness and tropical honeyed fruit competes with a citrus acid core on the palate. This is a big wine, but to me, it lacked a touch of elegance. Something I'd be happy with a glass of. Give this a bunch of air.

Echoing the May 18th note below, this was stellar and drinking at peak. This bottle had none of the advanced qualities or flabbiness others have noted. Pears and jonagold apples, honeycomb, wet stones and salt. Mellowed a bit with age but the acid still hits and the wine is texturally rich without any weight. These wines have legs though so I suspect it will hold but for as good as this was I’d take it for a spin, especially if …

In a great place. Added weight and would drink near term, at peak before fruit gets soft. Balanced acid makes it refreshing. Honey, lime apple. Drank without food in a Grassel Pinot glass. Memorable.

Starts of honeyed... still...no change.. Yeah,. this one off it's game. No oxidized but its sweetness dominated what is very high material underneath. Bummer. (0 views)

Popped and poured. As a few other people have mentioned, this was more advanced than I would have expected. Color was a deep honey which mirrored the aromas and palate. Not oxidized but certainly not fresh. Big disappoint with a wine that I normally adore. 88pts.

Unique, evocative nose. Green apple, lemon, bready in a good way. Palate—amazingly skilled roundness supported by perfect acidity. Beachy without becoming tropical. Appley without becoming fruit juicey. Great body without butter, nutty attributes. Persistent finish. A touch bitter on the back end. Just straight delicious. Had some on day 2 and it the bitter note was gone, otherwise the same. Superior to the 2016 which I had a month ago or so.

Loved this. Perfect bottle. Same notes as soyhead. Everything in great balance and harmony, with minerality, lemon, a deft oak touch that creates a little roundedness that brings everything together. Cohesive. Wish I had more.

Nose - hazelnut, lemon rind Mouth - rich with good acidity. None of the complicating caramel , butterscotch, toast, char or other fuss that plagues so many other domestic Chardonnay. I can see this as being a ringer for a well made Meursault.

On a retail shelf for two years. Decanted. Showing some age, likely due to storage conditions, but it freshened up after one hour in the decanter — lemon, caramel, and good acid to keep it fresh.

Well made, loads of acidic structure, lemon, cream, apple, medium body. This is still unpacking it's bags, and I think a few more years in the bottle should yield a more open and (obviously) evolved, nuanced wine. If you like a tighter, more acid forward wine, then enjoy now. Went great with some brie-like cheese, bread and butter.

pop and pour, drunk over a few hours A lovely, mature stony-chalk, nutty nose with orchard more than citrus fruits. It's expansive on the palate with intensity, depth and poise. Extremely well balanced with terrific cut. sap and density. It's texturally rich with a sense of gravitas, but with equal parts acid and bouyancy that keeps it light on its feet. More orchard and citrus fruit, marzipan, jasmine, and some cooling fresh herbal notes. Finishes with subtle honey and white …

My 2000th TN(!) PnP at a restaurant, served around cellar temp in generic red wine stems. This was singing from the get go and didn’t change much over the course of the night. The nose was fairly expressive and just special in character. Some mild reduction that smoothed out gradually over time, notes of biscuit, candied ginger, celery, and lemon curd. The palate was crystalline and sappy with pear and citrus fruit. Bright acidity and freshness. 14% alcohol not showing …

What a wonderful bottle of wine. Pale gold in color. Aromas of quince paste, lemon curd, vanilla, and some fresh herbs/herbal. In the mouth the wine is medium bodied, + acid. The wine is fresh and vibrant. Flavors of lemon curd, vanilla, cream, and aspirin are well balanced. The wine is still very youthful, barely showing any age. This sorta feels like it has just begun to settle down and open up. I bet this would have been much better …

So much body on this, with a combo of what I presume is ripe fruit, not so low alcohol, leesy effect of batonnage, and ample treatment to new oak. Still, the acidity is not so low as to make this cloying and the pungent chardonnay perfume is breathtaking. If you're looking for a luxurious and fat chard, this is the best you can find, IMHO.

Barolo Dinner (Tim and Elliott's Place, San Francisco) : Yellow, not golden; fresh, highly aromatic, white fruit, floral, hint of sweetness on the nose; palate is full bodied, dry, high acid; finish is medium-plus. 93 On reveal, this was a great surprise. So we’ll balanced, and clos électrique is a good name. Excellent balance and acid, superbly unique nose. A blend of traditional and modern fruit. Lovely.

Champagne & Cameron (Etto - DC) : Aromas of lemon curd, apricot, packed with interesting clover and spice notes along with flowers, almond, honey and lamp oil elements. This is a concentrated your Chardonnay packed with almond, honey, plump fruit, but it also sports mouthwatering acidity, complex mineral/chalky elements, and a pristine presence and balance on the palate. This has many years of evolution to come – it is beautiful now but such concentration for the cellar.

Intense fruit and acidity. Complex with good substance and blend of fine oak. Very young, yet surprisingly drinkable. Has some sharp edges at this point, so this demands time... best after 7-10+ years, I'd say. Very elegant for a 2014 -- not overdone. Impressive. 93+

My first Cameron, and I liked it. Great wine for a hearty fish dish, in this case pan-seared halibut with fiddle head ferns, ramp & green garlic puree. Dense and complex; Marybeth found clove notes she didn't like, but I didn't. Pit fruit, lemon curd, and a savory floral character, good cut, and a nice long finish. I thought it showed well, despite following the impressive '95 Heidsieck BdM and '08 François Cotat Les Monts Damnés.
