Birthday dinner: deep black-red colour; in nose and mouth red and black berry composition, cedar; full body and round texture; medium finish. At the dinner this wine had to compete with a Masseto 2009. Actually I thought this wine was on the same level. However, I did not speak out. Everybody else including the birthday host was in praise of the Masseto. Sometimes it's better to avoid discussion.
