Not quite as expressive as the 2020 still quite closed but silky smooth and beautiful textures on palate, just needs a lot more time to fully open up but clearly so well made and will only get better.

Fairly ripe cherry fruit but with nice structure underneath and solid acidity for the vintage. The texture seems quite fine and the finish is youthful and crunchy with notes of sweet cherries and minerals. Drinking pretty well now but let's see where this goes. 92+

Beautiful reductive sulphuric nose, concentrated juice and enjoyable but keep the next for a few more years and this will be a even better wine. Superb

Deep ruby in colour. Pronounced nose intensity with red and black fruits, cranberry, violet, flora, white pepper. Medium+ acidity and medium tannin. The wine is of outstanding quality. It has pronounced intensity from the primary fruits and medium+ acidity. Long finish. The wine is still youthful and will improve with ageing as fruit concentration will improve in bottle. The wine can be drank now. Will improve with slow ox of around 2-3 hours.

Pale to medium ruby, intoxicating nose of rose peddles, red currant, pomegranate, mushroom, earth, spice, and more, laser focused palate with sharp red berry fruit, earth, medium plus acidity, soft tannins, iron, and more, long finish with warm and a touch creamy red fruits, iron, strong mineral notes, long terroir-driven finish, hard to beat Note: I have no doubt this Vosne will evolve beautifully but it you like your Burgs young, this is open for business

Delicate and feminine with notes of cool red berries and cream, Vosne spice, pine needles and black tea. Complex and long finish, balanced acidity, fine and well integrated tannins. Delicious now with lots of upside potential.

Surprisingly accessible with strawberries, smoked fruit and spice. It is very elegant and feminine on the palate. A gorgeous Vosne.

A tasting at the estate with the Technical Director - who is FABULOUS. What a special talent and six pretty incredible wines (for the most part I have been focused on Baune vs Nuits so this was a true eye opener) with very different profiles (obviously but this tasting made it standout) than their southern counterparts. It was also a certification that 2020 Cote de Nuits slayed it. What an incredible estate (garden is fantastic), winemaker, vineyards and wines- just …

Decanted nearly an hour before dinner. Similar notes to other tasters, so will be brief: cool Pinot fruit with creamy finish of raspberry and salt and spice box. Surprisingly approachable with little chalkiness. More on the “Velvet Glove” than “Iron Fist” end of the Vosne spectrum. 93 with upside.

Not too intense, but has this nice cool perfume that lies above and delights with roses, red precise berries, salts, hints of graphite and cool spices. Good full-bodied and really feminine wine that gives joy with extremely perfume, raspberries, cherries, salts and cool spices. Nice light tightness at the finish with loving tannin bite. Really pretty Suchots. 93 points.

Surprisingly very drinkable, approachable at this stage. Red berries, strawberries, pretty subtle, delicate and balanced with soft tannins, quite a modern profile. Not deep or heavy. Give it some air and will show you some layers but it will definetly gain complexity and species with time. Today is a joy, tomorrow will be a blockbuster.

The best Suchots ever made from Arlot, very very close to Romanée Saint Vivant this year

Tasted next to 2018 N-S-G 1er Cru Clos des Forêts St-Georges. Less edgy in comparison, dark fruit, fresh and pure, less sweet. On the palate spicy and mineral, cool fruit, grippy tannins. Very long. Impressive. 92-93+
