Casas Patronales Carménère El Llano

A solid wine for the price. Deep burgundy with a distinct dark herb note, a touch of black licorice and cigar wrapper-a new wine note for me! The herb stays during a tasting with a light cherry note and very light spice, but not much more. A touch of acidity on the finish with very light tannins. Overall, a good value.

A very good value for a good wine. Driank a couple of nights ago, so going from memory. A heavy, dark wine with cherry, tobacco and some spiciness. A bit acidic wth a long finish.
