Bright red cherry, pomegranite, red licorice, forest floor/wet leaves, slight spice character (anise mostly with some nutmeg maybe?), super floral rosy strawberries. Light on its feet with bright acidity and med- body. Tannins are super silky and fully resolved. Medium+ length, where florals and spicy dominate. A bit hollow on the mid palate unfortunately. Not a ton of depth here, feels like a lot going on surface level. Great complexity and balance, just lacks some concentration and depth. Maybe it's …

A tad bit past its prime. With age, a hint of cloudiness, medium-light garnet in color, shows some sediment. On the nose, it's showing a bit over the hill. Very acidic and "pickle barrel', but tart cranberry, underripened strawberry, graphite, and some barnyard pfunk. On the palate, acidity is very high (even after decanting), low tannins, dry, medium bodied. Ripe red fruit, ripe cranberry, tart cherry, sasparilla, decaying leaves, clove, stewed but tart strawberry. Just out of balance due to …

This is fading pretty fast. Most fruit is gone, and it doesn’t seem to have developed any meaningful secondary complexity. Might just be the bottle, but seems to be over the hill.

Very well made. Typical Sonoma coast Pinot. Bright bing cherry, some strawberry. Higher acidity. Definitely one the closest to a Burgundian style for a Sonoma wine, but not quite.

Vibrant red fruits on the nose, a tad restrained, but beautiful. Ripe cherry skins. Floral and forest-y. On the palate, smooth, balanced, silky, dusty cherries. Still quite tannic and primary -- fruit flavors dominate. But not overbearing by any means -- classy, dignified, super.

Maybe a badly stored bottle but seemed past peak—weak aroma and somewhat acidic. But hints of. Beautiful flavor.

Included in a tasting I conducted in my retirement community. Fresh-tasting and fruity and I preferred it over a Morey-St. Denis Premier Cru also in the tasting. Cherry and raspberry scents and flavors with perhaps some wild berry notes. Ripe tasting and exhibiting power but not lacking elegance. Full-bodied with a lingering finish. The remaining wine held up well for two more days. I would rate it in the 90-92 range.

Similar to my 1/3/2022 note. Nose starts out with an earthy loam quality followed by Dark cherry & raspberry. The palate reveals additional points of iron and hints of mushroom developing. Still good acidity promising further development of tertiary flavors. Could have used a bit more weight. Finish drops off too quickly. Has added a bit a weight and length. Hang in there for more next year.

Elegant, balanced and supremely intriguing. Opened up a glorious night of light bites with good friends and a white elephant gift exchange. Great acid, red fruit and excellent backbone for such an old wine.

Still fresh acidity, much darker fruit with a alpine forest and some earth. Very interesting today, just starting to change from primary into its next phase. Enjoy!

Light in body, but complex in flavor with a long juicy finish. Emphasis is on cherry and raspberry juice over subtle earth and new leather notes.

Cherry, raspberry and a distinct iron flavour. Nice length, quite complex. Really nice wine, but given the high price I expected more.

Definitely in its bare youth and actually too young from our perspective. Clear dominance of lingonberries and loads of acid. However we love the style, fresh, flirty and only 12% alcohol. Will be a pure pleasure to drink within 3-5 years (and then score will probably reach at least 92).

Sexy and serious the bottle says and that is a good summary. Intense and generous in style. Well judged balance of fruit and freshness. Strawberry, raspberry and blackberry fruit. fine medium tannins. Long and already with some complexity.

A light and slightly austere Hirsch. Nose initially had some wet cardboard notes that funkes it up a bit. That died off fortunately, replaced by light berries. Pleasant enough wine but nothing fantastic.

Medium ruby red colour. Medium nose with red cherry, strawberries, smoke, cinnamon and oak. Medium taste of red cherry, strawberry, smoke, leather and oak. Long and dry finish. Medium (+) acidity. Light tannins. Medium (-) body. A great American Pinot Noir. Goes well with beef or pork.

Super light, bright red fruits (cranberry, plum, raspberry, rhubarb), and with only 12% abv it’s nice to drink a few glasses and not really feel it. Great every day wine

I was sensing a spoiled (don’t want to say rotten) strawberry character in the aromatics. Consistent with the first bottle, it was mainly just simple and straightforward. Still a good value but I’d not buy again, if I was to expect the spoiled fruit
