Lovely, lively, fresh and balanced. Really good now after 5-6 years in the cellar

First time trying this house and pretty impressed! This is a nicely structured, enjoyable wine. Comes out of the bottle with an abundant mousse, a light-medium straw yellow. Nose is still fresh, with still more of a primary citrus and chalk element rather than yeasty, toasted notes. Medium to full bodied, we drank this with sushi (one of my all time fave pairings) and it stood up very well. Just the slightest bit of oxidation on the finish later on …

This batch was purchased directly from the estate last year. The nose is floral, with aromas of lemon and chalk. The palate has an ethereal, pure effervescence and good depth, combining citrus and salinity with lovely acidity and a touch of jasmine on a beautiful, lingering finish. I really love this cuvée, which is the estate's signature wine.

Had this at Honeysuckle Rose in Charleston SC. 1st wine of the night. A nice discovery initially but a wine which lacks complexity. Herein lies a champagne that is very crisp with disappearing juice in mouth ..........without swallowing. Clearly more chardonnay character than Pinot Noir. This wine has a lot of limestone fruit and a minerality of a classic champagne with toast but not much fruit. Overall a perfectly pleasant well made chardonnay-based nv. However not much character yet.

Clean, crisp. Clear chardonnay character. A lot of minerality and toast. Not much fruit or complexity. Overall a perfectly pleasant well made chardonnay-based nv. However not much character yet.

(Disgorged in 2022) The nose is really expressive — ripe fruit, some yeasty notes, and a touch of oak. On the palate, it's medium-bodied, with good structure and some complexity, but overall not as striking as the aromatics.

How many new Champagne producers can a person discover in Singapore? It seems like everyone is importing Champagne nowadays. But to be fair, not every Champagne is worth the money and this one is an exception. A blanc de blancs that stands tall in its category with moderate complexity, but excellent balance of acid, fruit and autolytic character. Long, chalky finish. Extra brut, so you get a bit of that extra sweetness which I don’t mind at all. Good stuff …

Again needing an app disclosing my location and who knows what other data to some random internet site in order to get data on this wine via embedded RFID... 100% Cote des Blancs GC chardonnay (Le Mesnil-sur-Oger/Oger/Cramant/Chouilly 60/20/10/10). 70% from 2019, 30% from reserves. 75% in steel, 25% in barrels. Malo largely blocked. Bottled July 2020 (in a bottle annoyingly wide so it doesn't fit a standard vacuum "cooler"). Disgorged September 2023; dosage 2.5g/l. And after all that, it's very …

Notes of chalk, green apple, citrus and a little brioche. It's quite elegant and pure, but to be honest, lacking in intensity to score any higher. I prefer Pierre moncuit and some other producers for similar prices.

Beautiful champagne similar to my impressions during the tasting at the estate. A floral and chalky mix on the nose. On the palate, there is a very beautiful purity while being full of citrus fruits. Salty finish.

Bravo !

Very brioche-y but still has a lovely purity and taut spine that holds a bead. A little umami and Cointreau on the finish.

Excellent, classy Blanc de Blanc from Le Mesnil. Disgorged June 2022. Tensile, bright nose with a bit of richness at the back. Persistent. 92-93

Better than the current version of Veurve. More expensive though.

100% Chardonnay from Mesnil sur Oger, Oger, Cramant and Chouilly. Mineral and chalky nose with a touch of jasmine. Pure and ample mouthfeel at the same time which here marks one of the successes of the estate in my opinion. It is a complete and distinguished wine for €40 with a real personality and an excellent balance. Beautiful finish both floral and saline. Very good.

Muted citrus (grapefruit?), good amount of almonds, brioche and definitely some yeast. Great texture. Crisp. Pleasure to drink, great on sale QPR.

Solid BdB with a nice sourdough autolytic note. High acid. Perhaps a little weak on texture, but a great effort overall. Much more lean and linear style of champagne. Would be incredible with sushi.

Open by Mark who brought this back from Champagne. I've had 1 previous Champagne from this producer but that was 10 years ago. 2.5g/L dosage. Disgorged April 2022. 100% Chardonnay from four villages in the cote de Blancs. A very well balanced Champagne with notes of brioche, chalk and almonds. Moderate bead with a smooth finish. 91 points.

Lovely champagne! Lively, sharp, balanced. Apples, brioche, yeast, hay - classic chardonnay champagne. Elegant mousse and a long lasting finish. Perfect partner in the indian summer and works without food. Super QPR

Bright acidity, green apples and freshness at the start, then more complex tones of yeast, bread, chalk and a rounder body later. Nice, smooth bubbles. Overall, a very good champagne!

Disgorged July 2022 at 2.5g/l dosage, which suggests from earlier notes a 2018 base. No malo, 36 months on lees according to the producer website. This is a rather nice crisp, refreshing BdB: fresh lemon and a hint of apple; a hint of flinty minerality on the slightly drying finish. Overall a very clean, crisp-tasting fizz that is working excellently as an aperitif this evening. And quite decent QPR for the ~US$38 that I paid.

Wonderful. Nice richness.

Disgorged June 2020, with mostly 2014 as its base (75%) an the remainder as reserve wines. Credit to the domaine for providing this information, taking the time to tell us some stuff about the where and how of the wine I was putting into my glass. 3 grams of dosage from 100% Chardonnay that originates in the Cotes de Blancs, from the villages of Oger, Cramant, Les Mesnil sur Oger and Chouilly. Yesterday this started out tight and packed, perhaps …
