I opened a bottle last night and it seems totally dead. I have enjoyed 4 previously, and my last note seemed to indicate the fruit was dropping off. Time to finish these up??

All about the Q.P.R. Wow. Evocative, gorgeous honeyed fruit immediately in the nose with the same washing over the palate. Medium weight, ripe, but plenty of acid balance. Holding strong; still a few years left but drinking very well right now.

Lovely now, will get better with time. Beautiful bouquet of melons and citrus. On the palate, not an oaky style. Give this a year for the wine to round out. Lower acidity, not made for the long haul. Drink 2018 - 2022

From memory. Beautiful texture and acids w mouthwatering tart apples and meyer lemon, a nice herbal streak and minerals and a hint of spicy oak. Nicely complex.

Camphor and a hint of lemon oil on the nose. On the palate, light yellow apple and white peach with hints of honey, lemon, and a savory spice that I can't quite identify, with good acidity and a medium to long finish; the texture is slightly oily. This integrated a bit on the second day and became smoother, though not qualitatively better. Excellent value at a bit under $30 all in.

Les Portes d'Or de la Bourgogne - Les Grands Jours de Bourgogne (Chablis France) : Tasting, brief note. Yet more concentration and rich, riper fruit. Spice notes in background. Slightly less textures vs L'Elégante, but denser fruit. Also a screaming value.
