Another amazing bottle of the 07 Ark - not as rich as I typically like but so pure and balanced - ARK is my favorite of the HA portfolio but this is a wow wine if you appreciate a fully balanced Napa red - decanted about 45 mins - started drinking and it was as singing - drink em up if you got them

Slow ox 30 min. What a nose. Explosive black currant, cut flowers a little mineral backdrop. The palate is cracking with depth, layering, hedonism but also plenty of acidity. This is a powerful wine and has oodles of everything. Hasn't aged an inch. Finishes long and satisfying.

PNP. Relative to the KM, this wine is a fruit bomb. Huge upfront blue streak of fruit on the nose and palate. Beautiful wine with great balance. Drank younger than the KM. Long silky finish. Will likely get a little better with more age.

The wine was open at PNP and stayed fresh and sweet in the glass. Red and blue fruits and a softness that his characteristic of Hundred acre. Smooth and silky and very pleasant. This is not a wine that is overly intense but is sophisticated and allows the flavors to subtly make a positive impression without overwhelming the customer. The wine is similar to an experience that one may have with French burgundy.

Belated Mother�s Day wine - same notes as last time but a hint more alcohol in this bottle leads me to a 97 but overall fabulous juice in �the window� so drink up if you got em and happy Mother�s Day to all moms out there!!!

Well integrated at this point. Balanced red fruit and tannins. Quite restrained, despite the 15.5% alcohol.

This is my style and drinking at its peak. Big ripe red fruit with great depth and a smooth finish. Not quite as good as the 07 Sloan, which was equally as rich, but more refined. Top 4 in an elite lineup of 14 wines.

Wow. I’d say this is the best Napa Cab I’ve ever tried. The first thing I noticed was its incredible structure, being delicate on the palate with silky tannins yet carrying such rich and dense fruit and spice on the palate. Blueberries, raspberries, and blackberry compote, with earthy tobacco leaf and leather. So beautifully balanced, and a wonderful display of what a Napa Cab can be.

Superb cab. Decanted for 3 hours, and it was fantastic. Black cherry and raspberry aromas with some crushed rock and graphite. Full-bodied with complex flavors and subtle tannins. 30-second finish!

Drank with Saturday night dinner with friends. Fully nature dark ruby with zero sediment Multidimensional nose brooding prune, plum, dates and raspberry. Long long finish makes Steinbeck seem a novella writer. Not perfect but very very close 15+ brilliant years ahead If a date, this is that cerebral McKinsey partner you've lusted after for years and finally approached.

S&E Napa Extravaganza (at Home) : NOT Blind This wine was showing garnet and some lighter shades of red. Decanting improved the wine (3 hours). Tannins are still powerful yet restrained. 8+. Red fruits are showing and the dark fruits have receded. The last time I had this wine some 10 years ago, it was way too tannic. This has softened somewhat amazingly. My score maybe a touch high?

Double decanted and drank after 2 hours. Deep red color, huge nose of dark fruit, wood and some alcohol. The wine has tremendous fruit, good acidity, smooth tannins, oak and an amazing long finish. Drinking beautifully.

@Liteitonfire Birthday dinner at Giussepe's in Scottsdale. Simply stunning! This is the very first 100pt score I have ever given. The balance is perfection. Secondary and tertiary even coming out at this stage. Smoke, tobacco, spice, a bit of mint and oodles of dark brooding fruits. The creamy tannins created such a luxurious mouthfeel.

Decanted and served. Wine has come together nicely and is well balanced. Fresh with beautiful fruit pop. On the palate, wine has the silky body and finish that I associate with Hundred Acre. In drinking window that will likely last 5-10 years. Easy to drink and went down quick.

My first hundred Acre and I was very impressed. This is a big wine. Pours dark. Nice but not super expressive nose. The magic is in the mouth. Very concentrated. Layered. Yet smooth and balanced. Nice acid. Lingering finish. Drink or hold. Would go another 5 plus years if you like your wine softer.

Does a CS get any better than this one? Not according to my palate. Bold aromas of violets, blackberries, blueberry pie, licorice and crushed rocks. Well-balanced yet powerful flavors of black cherries and plum, some cassis, and spice. Others noted bluberries and dark chocolate. Silky tannins and a 30 to 45-second finish!

Color is clear red, garnet, medium intensity. High-intensity aroma of black fruit, especially plum and black currant. Clove, nutmeg, and other spicy aroma notes from the French oak. Medium-plus intensity on the palate. Palate notes balance perfectly with the nose; soft tannins; low acidity. Medium-plus length. Doesn’t need any more time in the bottle. Definitely drinkable now, but it’s not in danger of dying. Outstanding wine, but not life-altering.

Of course, this legendary wine was fantastic after aerating then decanting for 2 hours. Garnet color with very slight amber penumbra, it comes off more medium bodied - less than expected - forshadowing some restraint as compared to other fruitier Hundreds I�ve tasted. Extraordinary after a 2 hr decant, with an incredible savory and velvet mouthful so endemic of HA, lots of sweet dark fruits, graphite, minerality in perfect balance with silky tannins and a great finish of 30 seconds. A firm body. Almost gave 100 but just couldn’t. Two more bottles and I can’t wait.

Definitely has resolved since my last bottle in 2015. Still young but beginning to enter the drinking window. Huge blue fruits on the nose and initial palate. Full body with great balance and long finish. Will likely warrant a higher rating with more age.
