Perhaps unsurprisingly a lot less reductive and in your face than when I tried it in spring 2023, but there's still a lovely brightness to this wine. An element of vanilla and reduction on the nose, power without weight, delicious grapefruit through the midpalate and then pineapple on the finish. Lovely wine.

Howard Ripley German Portfolio Tasting (11 Cavendish Square) : A lovely chardonnay: chalky, chewy, super fresh and clean. Quite reductive. But not fair to taste it next to the Rieslings: felt flat in comparison.

not blind This time not that strong as one year ago at the winery. Burgundy style but the nose reminds to an older Tement SB. Saline, dry and typical SF scent. 92-93

not blind Compared to the "S" this is a different leaugue. This is one of the best Chardonnay from Germany I had. Filigree, elegant, not too reductive, few popcorn, lemon, no nuts, very precise finish. 96
