Cherries, plumb, and mocha on the nose. Doesn't have the structure of bourdeaux, more of a riper new world style. Easy drinking now but could continue to age for another 5 to 8 years.

Every 3rd Friday the home construction site foreman brings one of the following: 2 bottles of wine, a half-liter of liquor or a 12-pack of beer. As the morning sun rays warm my face, I roll dice with my fellow workmen, hoping to be spared from the - well I don’t even know what to call it really - the gauntlet, I suppose. Tom rolls first. 6. He's safe. Jim next. 4. Jim's got a good shot at safety today. …

Nice red blend, but needs more time for tannins to settle as others noted

Nice bordeaux blend with some floral and dark fruits on the nose, and dark fruit and a little herbaceousness in the glass. Drinking OK now but could probably use a bit more time.

Good effort for one of their entry level wines. Fruit forward. Aromas and flavors of black fruit, florals, and vanilla. Very tannic; needs more time. I think that the “bitterness” that other tasters describe, is from it’s high alcohol content, as it dissipates with time in the decanter.

I agree with other notes as to the beautiful fruit flavors but it has a bitterness, or maybe more of a harsh sour note (VA?) on the finish that takes it down a few notches.

A couple of Coravin glasses this is a very good wine and incredible QPR. Cassis and noticeable clove aromas while silky smooth on the palate with dark cherry, plum, licorice and good acidity on a long succulent finish. This goes down very easy. Bought a case of the '18 so hopefully those taste as good.

Inky purple color. Nose of cassis and cardamom. Taste of dark fruits, vanilla, and mocha. Very long fulfilling finish. QPR value here!

Tasted after a hour of air. Dark purple color. Round red berry fruits. Some cassis. Some fine grained tannins kick in on the mid palate providing excellent balance. Good persistence. Very nice.

Visit to Sleight of Hand in Walla Walla (Walla Walla Sleight of Hand Tasting Room) : Dark ruby color. Some dark red fruits here. Cassis. Firm tannins. Medium plus acidity. Always enjoy the Neil Patrick Harris. Good QPR.

Expected a bit more for this price range. Pine sap, cherry and a hint of spice on the nose. Smooth acidity, fully body and moderate tannins. Somewhat bitter finish.
