Excellent wine still showing intense fruit flavour 4 years after the "drink now" rating. The stelvin closure has kept it in wonderful condition with the colour still deep crimson with no browning at the edges. Unfortunately it was the only bottle in the cellar!

Drinking really well. Nice gamey, meaty notes, fruit purity deminishing and finishing a little hot. Probably reaching its peak in longevity. Good solid NZ Syrah off young vines

A strong, bold syrah, high in alcohol content- many legs, very warm in the mouth and going down. Spicy, rich flavor. Pleasant. First NZ wine, will buy more.
