PnP. Nice aromas of ripe apples, grapefruit and pear. Nice minerality, but perhaps a bit short on acidity. Delightful and delicious. Think this is at peak and won't get much better, so drink up this year.

Delicious now, definitely starting to mature with some of those waxy tertiary notes. Very good.

Pale, vivacious & pretty nose; subtle & understated palate, proper Kabinett. Lovely. This should drink well for a decade

Supper after tasting (Yang Ming Ubi) : From a magnum bottle opened 2 week prior and remaining kept in a Voss bottle in the fridge. Still amazing fresh and lots of fruits notes. Acid have resolved slightly compared from 2 weeks ago and drinking better.

A bit shut on day 1, but on day 2 it starts to hit its stride. Really nice tension and balance.

PnP, then drunk half of the bottle. The remaining half one week later and it had kept very well. No, TN, from memory. Light and playful, but with remarkable complexity, even a week later. The light sweetness is well balanced by the acidity, but also by a light bitterness, as if from citrus fruit, which makes the whole package extremely interesting.

Lovely, mature color. The nose shows fragrant aromas of candied apricot, peach, orange blossom, diesel and minerals. This is light bodied on the palate with very good concentration and excellent class. The long finish features a mineral element.

2020's have been an awkward phase for some time, and I have generally avoided opening them, but this bottle showed really nice. Lovely balance, nicely racy, but with structure and ripeness from the vintage. Peach, unripe pineapple, melon, loads of lemon juice and elderflower with a touch raspberry showing up on day 3. Very good! Glad I still have more.

My final of six bottles... drank next to a '21 Lauer Kupp Kabinett, the comparative ripeness of the 2020 vintage is extremely apparent. This Adam has way more rich, ripe tropical fruits and feels a bit more put together. The 2021 is great in its own way but I don't feel like I'm committing as much infanticide drinking this. Now the question is.. do I buy more?

Racy acid kept in check by some barely present RS. With a little air and an increase in temp there is an abundance of tropical fruit notes. Lots of ripe mango, pineapple, and star anise. Just needs some sticky rice and you've got dessert.

Transparent straw. Nose of cantaloupe and petrol. Medium-light body, medium to medium plus acid. Honey melon and sweet orange juice on the palate mixed with some wonderful sea salt minerality. Delicious and a great value.

Six months after my previous bottle. A bit of sponti or reduction on the nose right upon opening, so I left the 90% full bottle in the fridge for a few days. I don't remember that last time. After it had blown off, grapefruit pith and sweet minerality is exposed. The palate feels riper than the nose, but this might be a product of its sugar more than anything. With only one bottle left of this, I can't decide between …

Day 1: I love the light-footed intensity of this wine. From pop and pour, the residual sugar is nicely balanced by the electric acidity. Juicy fruit and a citric finish. The structure is just really nice and precise. The nose is a little mute, which may be the wine beginning its shutdown phase or just something unique to my bottle. Day 2: The nose is opening up a little more. The citrus note has subsided and I'm getting more white …

Completely agree with prior tasters, including EVJOH, and particularly with regard to the laser beam acidity. This has enamel-stripping levels of acidity, and I say that a good (or great) thing. There is noticeable sweetness here but it's absolutely kept in check with that acidity. As expected, the finish here is loooong, riding that on that same razor sharp cut. Killer stuff.

Fantastic young Kabinett and way more complex than I expected. There's typical bright citrus, a little tropical fruit, and minerality. The mouthfeel is what sets this apart, though—your tongue is first hit with a little effervescence before the weight from the sugar sets in. Just as you notice the sweetness, the absolute laser beam of acidity causes your cheeks to pucker right as the wine leaves your mouth. My friends and I killed this bottle embarrassingly fast. I have one …

Started with an explosive nose in a Riedel Bordeaux glass. Peach, honey, floral notes from indigenous yeasts. Ripe and impressive acid in perfect harmony with 50g of sugar. Long and fresh. Very good and at 8.5 vol. a very good starting point for an evening with great wines.

Fairly boring on day one but on day 2 this shows less green and more white/yellow fruit, an energetic core still wound tightly supported by medium plus viscosity and waves of mineral, peach nectarine and sour plum dominate with a little underripe pineapple ginger and tart acids; while tasty this should be delicious in 5 more years.

Moderately intense aroma of lemon-lime zest, mild petrol, garden path after a spring shower, gardenia… The palate has greater intensity, the fruit presents more tropical, probably because of the sugar. The wine is sweet, but there is ample acidity. The overall effect is 100% Sour Patch Kids. Moderately long finish. Enjoyable now but I would like it more after a little more time in the cellar.

This bottle was in rough shape but the wine made it through very well. Considerably rich in body and flavor for an eight year kabinett. Let it sit open for a while and the acidity will freshen things up. Will age for longer if you want more petrol and condensed flavors, especially if your bottle is in good shape.

by the glass pour at a restaurant. Light golden color. Nose light petrol, hints of wax, golden stone fruit. Palate juicy with flavors of oranges and some honey, hint of botrytis, citrus acidity. Crystalline purity. Very nice, offering generous pleasure now but could see it aging well for a while. 92 pts

AP # 10 18, 8.5% ABV. Spontaneous fermentation and still a bit “wild” in the nose. Wonderful tension between juicy fruit and racy acidity, white peach, aromatic green herbs, grapefruit bitters, light weight but intense flavours, excellent persistence. Classic Kabinett, power without weight, smoky slate, delicious now, but should reward 5-8 years in the cellar and last for 20. An impromptu gesture from Felix.

Popped and poured and enjoyed over 4 hours with dinner and after. Characteristic of the '11 vintage the wine was just a touch on the fat side. With air, the wine fills out and feels more complete. Fruit is ripe and leaning tropical, think mango. This was good but I prefer other recent vintages. Perhaps it will come together with time.

With dim sum in Riedel O glasses. Lighter in color than the Willi Schafer kabinett served alongside. Not nearly as rich as many Adam kabinetts I've had, which often have one foot in spatlese. This showed more restrained and acid driven, though still with a nice balancing fruitiness. Didn't talk about it much or linger over it, just enjoyed it a lot with the food. Particularly nice with shrimp and snow pea leaf dumplings. Good showing, especially for a vintage …

Wine at the Lake (Lake Lanier, GA) : Very green in color; initially the wines seems very sweet almost cloying, either the wine opened up or my palate calibrated, this shows some sweet yellow fruit, sweet and fresh green pear, spiced pear, floral, candied ginger, an incredible creaminess to the texture, acid is soft and not shrill while the wine still shows good freshness, lots of slate, lots of class and obvious skill here, need to get more.
