Light garnet. After an hour decant, muted aromas of raspberry and earth. Light mouthFeel with flavors of leather and berry. Good acidity with pleasantly assertive tannins. Not life changing but a great wine with classic Nebbiolo characteristics to accompany food. Might have another year or two to improve.

Licht granaatrood, met kleine verkleuring naar bruin. Intense neus met donkerrijpe kersen, mineraal, floraal en wat aardsheid. Beetje Brett!. Dan ook rijpe zwarte kers, pioenroos, aardbeiconfituur, licht gestoofd, rozenblaadjes, gedroogde sinaasschil, metalig en bloed. Strakke aanzet, met fijne maar hoge zuren, onmiddellijk tannines die een beetje drogen. Pas laat komt het rijpe en zoete fruit voor inhpud en balans zorgen. Naar de afdronk toe alles in evenwicht, met dan een mooi mondgevoel van rijp tot overrijp zwart fruit. Goede lengte …

Red cherry, clay, dried mushrooms, a little flowers and peppery herbs. Classic, fresh, tannins frame everything, but it is overall pretty delicate and elegant for Nebbiolo. Should be worth following another 5 or so. Love this style.

Granaatkleur, al wat evolutie, transparant. Med intensiteit, mineraal, zwarte kers, bloesinaas, rubbertje, hout. Zoete floraliteit. Vanille, zoethout. Interessante maar wat ingetogen neus. Sappig en stevig, met goede zuurtjes, lekker fruit en stevige tannines. Complex, mondvullend, evenwichtig, hoewel naar einde toe de tannines wat ruwer worden. Afdonk met blauw fruit en fraaie bittertjes. Goede lengte.

Nice bright medium light red. After an hour decant the nose shows an earthy red cherry and berry nose. Dry earthy red fruit flavours and a nice fuzzy tannic finish. Very enjoyable young Nebbiolo for those who like the traditional style but want to enjoy it now. A nice buy at $35.99 cdn plus 15% taxes.
