This comes from the same vineyard, planted in the 80’s, where Concha y Toro sources their top Carmenere Carmin de Peumo. 16 months in barrels. Plenty of fruit here but also the typical pyrazine notes and spice on the nose. Round and smooth, but not super modern in terms of oak and extraction. Some tannic structure for further aging though.
