Wow, great Spätlese. This one was almost as thick and complex like a Auslese. Nose showed a very captivating smell of lemon and other yellow fruits. The taste was fresh, again lots of yellow fruits with good acidity and long aftertaste. This went actually very well with grilled meats.

Vraiment très bien!

Lovely color and slightly spritzy. Petrol and minerals on the nose with lovely stone fruit and a hint of citrus. Beautiful on the palate with nice acidity to balance the sweetness and it has great mouth feel with peaches, pears some minerality. A great long finish with a continuation of beautiful fruit and a bit of honey.

Light yellow color, nose of apples and melon. The wine shows impurities. On the palate unbalanced where the high acidity has been masked with sugar (glucose) that works well as long as the wine is cold. Once it reaches dribking tempreature the imbalance makes it virtually undrinkable. No good and a big disapointment. -10 is a tricky vintage where the not so good winemakers falls through.

Pale, almost clear to look at with a lime filled, minerally nose. More powerful than the Wehlener Sonnenuhr with intense pear and peach fruit. Maybe lacking a little freshness to cut through the ripe fruit.
